Telemedicine

One of the ways that SCHC ensures quality health care services, is to provide access to specialty care to help you meet with a specialist in a live video visit.  The live video visit will be with a specialist from out of the area who may be able to order the tests, labs, and medications that you need.

Why a live video chat?

  • You can see a specialist sooner
  • You will save time and money on travel
  • You can call to change your appointment

Things to remember

  • Ask your clinician about Telemedicine
  • The live video visit takes place at the health center
  • In the video visit, you will talk with the specialist about your care
