Welcome to Shasta Community Healthcare

Shasta Community Health Center is a nonprofit primary health care system based in Redding, California and serving Shasta and surrounding counties and communities since 1988. The health center supports the teaching and training of health professionals who have a strong interest in caring for the disadvantaged. The health center places a special emphasis on providing preventive, acute and chronic health care services to the economically or otherwise disadvantaged.

Our mission is to provide comprehensive, high quality, efficient and effective healthcare services, delivered in a holistic, caring, and compassionate way, as part of an interdependent health system, to the medically underserved populations of our community.

Vision

Shasta Community Health Center, working with private and public health partners, will help to create a seamless system of access to compassionate, high quality primary and preventive health care for all residents of the community it serves. Shasta Community Health Center strives to improve the health status within the community it serves, particularly for those residents who are economically or otherwise disadvantaged.
