Susanna Curry received her Master of Social Work from University of Southern California (2019), following studies in a Master of Science in Child Development at University of La Verne (2016).  She worked as an Educationally Related Mental Health Specialist with Shasta County Office of Education’s Bridges to School Success program.  In her role at Bridges to School Success, she provided mental health services children ages 0-8 and their families, including parent coaching and behavioral consultation for daycare providers, preschool teachers, and other school staff; and she developed the SCOE Motivational Interviewing program and a caregiver/child Music and Movement class.  Susanna received her license for clinical social work (LCSW) in 2022 and began employment as a Behavioral Health Consultant in the Pediatric Department at Shasta Community Health Center in 2023.

Certifications: Motivational Interviewing, Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant (via Georgetown University/West Ed), Neurosequential Model of Therapy (Dr. Bruce Perry/Child Trauma Academy), Triple P (Level 3, 4 Standard, Level 4 Steppingstones, Level 4 Teen, Level 5), Problem-Solving Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Center for Mind-Body Medicine Group Skills Facilitator.  Susanna is currently working toward certification with the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals to treat eating disorders in children and adults.
