Alcohol Awareness Month
Every April, we recognize Alcohol Awareness Month. This month, take some time to better understand how alcohol can affect your health and well-being.
Alcohol can impact sleep, mood, and overall physical health. For some, it can also affect relationships, work, and daily life. Being mindful of how alcohol affects you is an important step toward making informed choices.
If you’re thinking about cutting back or have concerns, support is available. Small changes can make a meaningful difference, and help is here when you’re ready. Our Recovery Pathway Programs team offers support and resources to help you build healthier habits.

Autism Awareness Month
April is Autism Awareness Month, a time to build understanding and recognize the experiences of individuals and families impacted by autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
At Shasta Community Health Center, we believe awareness starts with simple, meaningful moments, learning something new, having a conversation, or taking time to better understand one another. Autism Awareness Month is an opportunity to reflect on how we can continue to show compassion and respect in the way we care for our community.
On Thursday, April 30, our Pediatric team will have a small Autism Awareness table available from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Community members are welcome to stop by to pick up information, explore a few activities, and learn more about autism spectrum disorder.
Whether you stop by for a few minutes or just take a moment to learn more this month, every step toward understanding makes a difference.
