Let's Talk Diabetes
We are excited to announce a new regular program featuring Registered Dietitian (RD), Joann Tippin. This presentation is held every other month and features a more clinical discussion about how Diabetes works and how your food choices will affect your blood sugar. The first presentation is on December 14, 2018 @ 2pm at the Main Center in Redding.

New to SCHC: Body Balance
Starting December 11th SCHC will now be offering a Body Balance class on Mondays from 9:30-10:30am. This stretch and balance class is done while sitting in a chair. It is perfect for anyone who is new to exercise or physical activity.
Positions and movements are chosen to:
- Protect joints
- Slowly improve balance
- Increase range of motion.

Wellness Yoga
Wellness Yoga now has a new format! This program will now feature two types of yoga to meet all ability and comfort levels:
Tuesday: Yoga for Strength
For those who choose a more active practice with physical challenges. This class will offer more movement, balance poses, stretches, and strengthening exercises while still incorporating the meditation and breathing exercises true to a traditional yoga practice.
Thursdays: Joyful Breathing Yoga
For those who choose a less active practice and know that through gentler, quieter, and calmer activity our body, mind, and spirit can heal and refresh. This class will offer more chair yoga, yin, restorative, joint freeing, meditation, breathing and working with the mind.
