Special Events & Announcements

Due to COVID-19 concerns we are unable to offer yoga classes at this time. Please reach out to our Patient Education Department at (530) 229-5115 for questions regarding this program.

Body Balance

Our Body Balance class is on Mondays from 9:30-10:30am. This stretch and balance class is done while sitting in a chair. It is perfect for anyone who is new to exercise or physical activity.

Positions and movements are chosen to:

  • Protect joints
  • Slowly improve balance
  • Increase range of motion.

Wellness Yoga

Wellness Yoga now has a new format! This program will now feature two types of yoga to meet all ability and comfort levels:

Tuesday: Yoga for Strength

For those who choose a more active practice with physical challenges. This class will offer more movement, balance poses, stretches, and strengthening exercises while still incorporating the meditation and breathing exercises true to a traditional yoga practice.

Thursdays: Joyful Breathing Yoga

For those who choose a less active practice and know that through gentler, quieter, and calmer activity our body, mind, and spirit can heal and refresh. This class will offer more chair yoga, yin, restorative, joint freeing, meditation, breathing and working with the mind.
