What is the Women’s Babies’ and Children’s Center?

This is a new center that we are building across the street from our main center in Redding on Placer and Continental streets. Construction of this new two-story building will start this summer and take 14 months to build.

  • Pediatric services at our main center on Placer Street will transfer to the new center and will be on the first floor.
  • The second floor will house our maternity care.

What services will be offered here?

  • Pediatric services
  • Maternity services including patient care and clinical consultations with an obstetrician.
  • Breastfeeding consultations and classes
  • Behavioral health consultant for mental health and support

Please note we will not be delivering babies in our new center. Mercy Medical Center is the only provider in Shasta County for these services.

We are very excited to start this project and will give our patients and community members updates as we move forward.
