Shasta Health Connect

Tired of playing phone tag? Shasta Health Connect makes it easier to contact your clinician. Whether you want to make an appointment or see your latest test results, Shasta Health Connect gives you the details you need in a helpful, easy-to-use website.

By signing up for Shasta Health Connect, you will be able to:

  • Write messages to your clinician and healthcare team
  • Ask for appointments and get appointment reminders
  • Get important health details from your medical record, like: medications, shots, and test results
  • See your medication list and ask for refills
  • Learn more about health conditions
  • Manage account details, such as user name, password, access rights, and email address

Sign-up in 3 easy steps

  1. You can sign-up and register for Shasta Health Connect by giving your healthcare team your name and email address.
  2. They will give you a code, called a token. The token will let you access Shasta Health Connect.
  3. Lastly, all you have to do is create your account with you own private user name and password.

Covered California: What you need to know

Open Enrollment for Covered California ended on January 15th, but there are other ways you can qualify to get health insurance coverage. You can enroll into Medi-Cal any time during the year as long as you meet the income requirements.

If you have a Qualifying Life Event (QLE) you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period with Covered California. This means you have 60 days from the time the event happened to enroll into a health plan. Some examples are:

  1. You lost or will soon lose your health insurance (Medi-Cal coverage, employer coverage, COBRA, coverage from your parent’s plan)
  2. You recently moved here (from Central or Southern California or from another state or country)
  3. You had a baby, adopted a child, or became a foster parent
  4. You got married or entered into a domestic partnership
  5. You returned from active duty military service
  6. You were released from jail or prison
  7. You gained citizenship or lawful presence
  8. You are a Federally Recognized American Indian or Alaska Native
