What is World AIDS Day?
The whole month of December is HIV/AIDS Awareness Month! World AIDS Day takes place on December 1st each year. It is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness. This year we would like to emphasize the importance of ending the HIV epidemic by addressing health inequities and ensuring that all voices of people with HIV are prioritized.
