New Drive-Through COVID-19 Testing Partnership

SCHC has opened a part-time drive-through COVID-19 testing site in partnership with Shasta County Public Health. These tests are by appointment only.

What Days Are Drive-Through Testing Available?

Testing is held each Tuesday and Thursday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. We are located on Continental Street in the rear parking lot of what was formerly Owen’s Pharmacy.

How Do I Make an Appointment?

Appointments are made only through Public Health. First call Public Health at (530) 225-5951 to be screened over the phone. Based on your symptoms, if a public health nurse thinks that you need to be tested, they will schedule an appointment for you to come to our drive-through test center.

What Should I Expect?

You will pull into the parking lot and stop at the sign that says “Wait Here”. Please keep your windows up and press your photo ID to the window so that we can confirm your appointment. You can then pull forward and a member of our nursing staff will test you.

Please keep in mind that if you do not have any symptoms you can schedule an appointment at any time to be tested for COVID-19 at: https://lhi.care/covidtesting. This testing site is at Shasta College.
