Maria Nicora, MD

Dr Nicora is originally from Uruguay, in South America. She went to Medical School at the University of the Republic in her country. Upon graduation she worked as a physician for six years before she moved with her family to the United States. She later completed her Residency in Family Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Dr Nicora is Board Certified and has been practicing in Northern California for more than ten years. She has experience working as a Hospitalist as well as outpatient board spectrum Family Medicine. She completed a fellowship in Psychiatry for Primary care at UC Irvine and a Fellowship in Faculty Development in UC San Francisco. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Dr Nicora likes the outdoors; she likes fitness, hiking and have run several times the Redding Marathon. She is interested in Art and enjoys painting on her free time.
