Jeffrey Bosworth, MD

Jeff Bosworth, FAAFP. Dr. Bosworth was raised in Santa Barbara, California and attended UC Santa Barbara as an undergraduate. He graduated from the Chicago Medical School in 1992 and then completed the Mercy Redding Family Practice Residency Program. He has been a full time Physician at Shasta Community Health Center since Residency Graduation. Dr. Bosworth has since been continuously involved in Resident Education. He has completed a post-graduate Fellowship in Teaching. He was formerly the Residency Center Medical Director at a Residency Track. He has maintained being active as an In-Patient Pediatrics Preceptor for many years. He practices a broad scope of Family Practice with special interests in Obstetrics, Pediatrics and Procedural Training. He also has previous experience in Rural Emergency Medicine and hospital based medicine. He has been active in the medical staff at Mercy Medical Center and was formerly the Chief of Staff. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice. Dr. Bosworth is married and has three children; one an Engineer, one a Physician Assistant and one serving in the U.S. Army.
