C. Dean Germano

Mr. Germano has been the CEO of SCHC since 1992 and hasover 30 years of healthcare management experience. He holdsa Master of Health Science Degree and is a Fellow of theAmerican College of Healthcare Executives. Mr. Germano is pastBoard President of the California Primary Care Association andnow Board Emeritus with CPCA. In addition, he is the past Chairof the Shasta County Public Health Advisory Board and was amember and past-Chair of the Golden Umbrella and SeniorNutrition Centers (Dignity Health Affiliates) Advisory Board inRedding, CA. Mr. Germano is also past Chair and currentmember of the Health Alliance of Northern California (HANC)that represents Federally Qualified Health Centers in this region.Mr. Germano has assembled an expert team to advance ShastaCommunity Health Center within the often-tumultuous changesof the health care system. He has been integral in the expansionof the health center from the capital development necessary toestablish all the current sites to expanding services for theunderserved populations of our rural service area.
