Urgent Care
Shasta Community Health Center’s Urgent Care was established to fill the gap between the primary care clinic and the emergency room by fulfilling the needs of our patients requiring immediate, non-life threatening medical attention.
Urgent Care is the place to go if you or your family have a minor illness or injury and cannot be seen by your primary care clinician within a reasonable time frame. When you are sick or injured, you may have an urgent need. An urgent care need is one that requires prompt medical attention, usually within 24 – 48 hours.
Urgent care situations include: minor injuries, sore throats, and upper respiratory symptoms, earaches, coughs, backaches, and frequent urination or burning sensation when urinating. For major injuries or illnesses, you should go directly to the emergency room.

Do I need an appointment?
No, appointments are not needed; however same day appointments are available.
Urgent Care Hours
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
- Evening Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday open until 8:00 P.M.
- Saturday Clinic: 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
- (Closed some holidays)
