Vaccines and Immunizations
It’s time to say goodbye to many diseases our parents had such as chicken pox, hepatitis B, hepatitis A, meningococcal (brain) infection, measles, mumps, rubella, tetanus, pertussis, human papilloma virus, and polio. Not too long ago these bacteria and viruses could scar us, blind us, make us deaf, give us cancer, make us really sick or even kill us. Now all we need to do to avoid these illnesses and diseases is to get our routine vaccinations when they are due. The more people who get vaccinated, the healthier the whole community is.
Grab a friend. Get a shot.
Our parents or schools can usually tell us what vaccinations we have already had and our doctors or other medical providers can tell us what immunizations we need to stay up to date.
IMMUNIZATIONS. A LITTLE PAIN FOR A LOT OF GAIN. IT’S A SIMPLE WAY TO STAY HEALTHY.
