Maintenance Technician

JOB SUMMARY

Maintains and repairs a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment appliances; performs mechanical servicing tasks, such as greasing, oiling and replacing worn or defective parts; repairs/adjusts heating and air conditioning equipment, changes air filters on a scheduled basis; performs carpentry, plumbing, painting and electrical necessary in making repairs to plumbing, furniture and buildings; installs and removes equipment; conducts inspections to determine needs for maintenance and repair work. Performs any work necessary in the maintenance, repair or remodeling of buildings facilities; uses a variety of hand and power tools in accomplishing assigned work.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EXPERIENCE

Ability to read and write and follow oral and written instructions to perform all tasks.

PREFERRED

High school graduation or equivalent.
Previous experience in a clinic or hospital.

RN-Triage

The primary function of the Triage Nurse is to ensure optimum access for walk in and telephone triage patients. S/he utilizes standardized triage protocols to provide telephone or face to face triage, referrals for emergency care or home care education. S/he collaborates closely with the Visit Coordinators to facilitate messages to clinicians for medication refills, diagnostic results or other concerns. Assists with patient, clinician or staff concerns, provides for orientation of new staff and provides direct nursing care according to his/her scope of practice when needed.

Psychiatrist

Shasta Community Health Center (SCHC) is a primary care, multi-specialty community health center located in Northern California. SCHC is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist who is interested in the consultative-liaison model of practice. We currently have an integrated, primary care neuropsychiatry program headed by a full-time psychiatrist, board certified in adult and child psychiatry. Our psychiatrist practices in a consultative-liaison model and provides oversight to the program as well as a team of clinical social workers, masters prepared psychiatric nurse, and physician assistants. One of the primary goals of our program is to provide support, medical consultation and education to our clinic staff of over 25 family practice and pediatric physicians, PAs/FNPs and dentists.
